Go to spot for buffalo hot wings. I haven't tried the other flavors. They also hand-cut their potatoes for fries. Nice touch. I must stay away from the tasty kool-aid. I'm able to call in my order. It's ready to go when they say so. P.S. it is also a B-O-B which makes me feel good as a customer.
Food is always hot and fresh. Hands down the best wings in Bastrop. An absolute blessing to have out here on 95. Don't have to drive far for amazing food.
Roco's has way improved on their food quality- I'm finding that they're stepping up their game and making sure everything is hot and fresh. It may take a little bit of time but I also like that they ask you how far you are from them so they can do even better at timing your food so it's fresh. Wings are so much better than it was when I first made my review. I've also tried a few other things and their fried fish and shrimp are pretty decent. Super fresh but a little bland and the breading kind of falls off the shrimp but the shrimp quality is way better than I expected so it evens out. Wish they had like a coconut sauce or something for the shrimp though so I could make sure if the breading falls off that I still would eat it with the shrimp together instead of just taking the lil nakey shrimp and using cocktail sauce. I always get wings without sauce and sauce on the side to dip! Makes for crispier wings! Their tea is bomb and in Texas that's important!
Food is excellent! Service is fast and friendly! Just a homey little hole in the wall that you would pass by if you didn't know!! The wings are phenomenal large moist and very flavorful! Really good fish, shrimp, even the empanadas are killing it! The only and I mean the ONLY draw back is their veg sticks are puny oh and the ranch is a little thin but hey the WINGS are the star of the show! You find any better around. Well worth a little drive to check them out for yourself!
